Data Privacy
ATTF believes that online privacy is important to the
success of the Internet and electronic commerce in general
and thus is strongly committed to each visitor's right
to privacy. The following statement sets forth ATTF's
privacy policy for its Web site located at http://www.attf.lu
and fully explains its information gathering and handling
practices.
If you, as a visitor, choose to submit identifying information,
you are consenting to ATTF use of such data in accordance
with its privacy policy as described in this statement. If
you should have any questions regarding ATTF privacy policy
or do not feel that your concerns have been addressed, use
the contact form
ATTF receives very little personal information from visitors
to our Web site and only for a limited set of purposes. Personal
or identifying information may be collected as registration
data, in order to enable us to respond to certain inquiries
for further information, to distribute requested materials,
or when visitors decide to submit resumes. Such personal information
may consist of, but is not limited to the following: name,
address, company, and email address. Additional demographic
information is not actively sought, but may be obtained when
a visitor submits a resume as a part of an online job application.
It is ATTF policy not to seek any sensitive information (e.g.,
data relating to race or ethnic origin, religious beliefs,
criminal record, physical or mental health, or sexual orientation)
from visitors to our Web site, unless legally required to
do so for recruiting or hiring purposes. We do not suggest
that you provide sensitive information. However, if you do
provide such information, ATTF accepts your explicit consent
to use that data in the ways described in this privacy statement
or in the ways described at the point where such information
is disclosed.
It is possible for a visitor to send emails through the site,
and such messages will contain the user's name and email address,
as well as additional information that the user may wish to
include in his or her messages. Because our Web site can be
used to recruit contractors, a user's visit to our site may
involve a user sending a resume to ATTF.
ATTF limits the information collected from visitors
to only the minimum information required to fulfill
a visitor's request. Where non-mandatory data is sought,
the visitor will be notified that such information is
not a necessity at the time of collection of such data.
ATTF will not use personal data to facilitate unsolicited
marketing activities.
Visitors are not required to register in order to gain
access to the ATTF Web site. All personally identifying
information provided to ATTF and its affiliates through
the ATTF Web site is provided on a strictly voluntary
basis by visitors. ATTF will never sell, release, or
give any visitors' information to any unaffiliated third
party without first notifying that visitor and receiving
explicit permission and approval. ATTF may provide a
visitor's information to its agents, affiliates, or
to related entities that are members of ATTF when necessary
to achieve the purpose for which such information was
provided. By providing information to ATTF through its
Web site, you are explicitly consenting to the trans-border
transmission of such data. Any visitor who has requested
information or notices regarding our services or products
may choose at any time to discontinue receiving this
information. It is our policy to honor that choice and
accordingly refrain from sending any further information
or notices.
All visitors have the right to access the retained personal
data that they have submitted through the Web site to ATTF.
To update information, visitors should merely resubmit the
correct information. Inquiries regarding the accuracy of identifying
or personal information previously submitted to ATTF through
the Web site should be formulated using the contact
form. ATTF is dedicated to providing reasonable access
to visitors to afford them the opportunity to review their
personal information and correct any inaccuracies therein.
Upon request, ATTF will remove any identifying or personal
information from its systems.
If and when personally identifiable information is
retained, ATTF will use commercially reasonable efforts
to keep an accurate record of any information submitted
by any visitor to the ATTF Web site. ATTF is not responsible
for verifying the continued accuracy of this information.
If ATTF is made aware that personal data previously
submitted to its site is no longer accurate, and it
is practical, ATTF will use its best efforts to make
appropriate corrections based on updated, revised information
provided by visitors.
ATTF has in place generally accepted standards of
technological security for the purpose of protecting
all information provided by visitors from misuse, loss,
or corruption. Only authorised personnel have access
to personally identifiable information submitted through
the Web site. Such employees are required to maintain
the confidentiality of this sensitive data. The policy
also applies to any and all agents, affiliates, and
related entities of ATTF that may receive such information
from ATTF. All visitors, however, should be aware that
our Web site may contain links to other sites that are
not governed by this or any other privacy statement.
ATTF reserves the right to modify or amend this privacy
statement at any time and for any reason. Nothing contained
herein is intended to create a contract or agreement
between ATTF and any user visiting the Web site or provide
identifying information of any kind.
