House of Training /ATTF in cooperation with the Kosovo Banking Association and supported by the Government of Luxembourg, organised an intensive 3-day training with on "Capital Markets: Practical Analysis of Mechanisms and Study of Principal Investment Types".
This training provided a broad insight into the structure of the most important financial markets and helped participants clarify key concepts on their functioning and interaction with the economy in general.
At the end of the training, the participants were exposed to new practical skills, including:
Identification of four basic financial markets and seven main financial instruments.
Understanding how bonds, stocks, foreign exchange and the money market are traded.
The use of derivatives for protection against financial risks.
Calculating profit or loss in future transactions.
Knowledge of the infrastructure necessary for the development of capital markets: pre-trading, trading, matching, clearing, settlement and custody.
