The first seminar of 2024 in Bosnia and Herzegovina took place in Sarajevo with Yves DECEUNINCK on Internal Audit and Control. Thanks to this intervention, participants were able to learn how to apply agile auditing methodologies. We thank our trainer and our local partner, the Association of Banks, for making this first on-site action in 2024 a success.
Internal Audit and Control
The role of internal audit is to provide independent assurance that an organisation's risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively.
Internal auditors help organisations to succeed through a combination of assurance and consulting, by telling managers and governors how well the systems and processes designed to keep the organisation on track are working. Then, auditors offer consulting help to improve those systems and processes where necessary.
