Introduction

Private Banking is one of the pillars of the Luxembourg financial centre and the ever growing complexity of this business requires that a private banker possesses a solid knowledge of the financial instruments and their use as investment vehicles.

Objectives

This programme provides an introduction to advanced issues of private banking.

More specifically, it deals with the pillars of private banking: investment products, advisory and wealth planning.

It also deals with practical examples of portfolio allocation taking into account client preferences and presenting various allocation possibilities, among others related to risk budgeting and liquidity planning.

The session is conceived as a workshop over 3 days with practical examples and quizzes so that the participants get a practical grasp of the matter.
