On 20th March, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Service of Luxembourg, the House of Training–ATTF had the pleasure, of organising a special alumni event to celebrate the 20th edition of the Bank Management Programme (BMP) — the flagship certified training pathway designed for future leaders of Vietnamese commercial banks and State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).
The evening, enriched with inspiring speeches, heartfelt alumni testimonials and a captivating keynote by ATTF expert Mr Gilles Ossona de Mendez on “Being a Leader in the Age of AI”, was above all a fabulous opportunity for everyone to reconnect and reminisce. It reminded us of the many meaningful moments of shared knowledge, skills development and friendship that have shaped the long standing collaboration between Vietnam and Luxembourg.
Whilst the ATTF collaboration overall in Vietnam has provided training over 3000 financial sector professionals since 2000, the BMP has become a well known and respected programme in Vietnam, with more than 400 alumni itself. Its 5 module blended learning journey, delivered both in Vietnam and online, strengthens core competencies in Corporate Governance, Internal Control & Risk Management, Retail & Corporate Banking Strategies, Digital Banking, Sustainable Finance and Leadership & People Management. The programme culminates in Luxembourg, where participants put their skills into practice through an immersive Bank Simulation Game, which is always a highlight of the programme.
Our alumni event brought together around 130 graduates from the last 8 editions, along with representatives from our valued partner, the State Bank of Vietnam (International Cooperation Department, Personnel Department) and the Banking Training School (Banking Academy).
We were greatly honoured by the presence of:
Mr Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam
H.E. Mr Patrick Hemmer, Ambassador of Luxembourg to Vietnam.
Mr Tran Hong Quang, Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Hanoi
Their participation made this gathering even more special and reaffirmed the strong and long standing collaboration between Luxembourg and Vietnam in capacity building for the financial sector. A truly memorable celebration of learning, partnership, and community.
A heartfelt thank you to all alumni and partners for their continued trust, energy, and commitment. We look forward to many more editions - and many more achievements together!
