The second edition of the Advanced Banking Leadership Programme (ABLP) is officially underway!
Implemented with the financial support of the Government of Luxembourg and co-organised with the Rwanda Bankers Association, ABLP aims to support the next generation of banking leaders contributing to Rwanda’s financial sector ambitions.
Officially launched during an online kick-off session attended by H.E Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju, Ambassador of Rwanda to Luxembourg, Mrs Charlotte Helminger, Chargée d’affaires e.p. at the Embassy of Luxembourg in Rwanda, our partner the Rwanda Bankers Association (RBA), the House of Training-ATTF, trainers and participants, the programme brings together a new cohort of banking professionals embarking on a 10-month leadership journey.
Just a few days later, participants completed their first workshop in Rwanda on Strategy, Governance & Internal Control, led by Samuel Grand. This first module set the tone for the programme: strengthening sound decision-making by connecting strategy, governance, risk management and internal control within financial institutions.
Congratulations to all participants on this first important step — and best wishes for the journey ahead!
