It was a privilege for the ATTF to conduct between the 21st and 23rd of April a site visit to Ethiopia, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to capacity building and knowledge exchange in the financial sector.
This mission, carefully coordinated by the Embassy of Luxembourg in Addis Ababa, provided an invaluable opportunity to engage with key stakeholders across the Ethiopian financial ecosystem.
During the visit, we were proud to:
- Meet with the Ethiopian Bankers Association
- Exchange with HR, Talent and Learning & Development specialists from commercial banks.
- Engage with the Ethiopian Securities Exchange and the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority.
- Connect with the European Investment Bank representation to Ethiopia and the African Union
- Hold discussions with the State Minister for Economic Cooperation H.E Semereta Sewasew and the National Bank of Ethiopia.
A particular highlight was hosting a vibrant reception, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Bankers Association, with over 150 ATTF alumni, a powerful reminder of the growing and dynamic network of professionals contributing to the development of Ethiopia’s financial sector.
