Strengthening Risk Data Governance in Albania

From 30 March to 1 April, ATTF – House of Training had the pleasure of supporting the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) in delivering an intensive 3‑day training on “Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting (BCBS 239 – RDARR).”

The programme brought together professionals from across the Albanian banking sector for in‑depth discussions and hands‑on sessions on risk data governance, emphasising the growing importance of accurate, consistent and timely risk data in today’s evolving regulatory landscape.

Throughout the training, participants explored how robust and secure data frameworks contribute to effective implementation of the BCBS 239 principles, strengthening both compliance efforts and overall risk management practices.

By the end of the programme, attendees had enhanced their skills to better meet supervisory expectations and support strategic, data‑driven decision-making at senior management level.

This collaboration highlighted once again that high‑quality risk data is not only a regulatory requirement but also a cornerstone of sound governance and sustainable performance within the banking industry.
